Do you remember before you knew yourself?
Before you knew what type of art you wanted to make?
Before we cared about selling our art?
We just made it.
And it's how we learned to understand ourselves.
Creating art is still the best way for us to explore who we are and deepen our understanding of ourselves as individuals.
And it becomes our story. Our artist story.
Plus it just feels awesome.
We need more artists. Part-time artists. Full-time artists. Once-every-now-and-then artists.
We don’t need to sell our art, but we do need to make it.
How important is it to hear what inspires others about our art?
- It's necessary. You know just how valuable it is.
We carry their words with us. They become a part of our artist story. Sometimes we never forget them.
You can do the same for other artists.
When you see art that inspires you, it's not enough to like their reel or say they “look good”.
Tell them how. Tell them why.
DM them, and share exactly how big of an impact their art has made on you.
And if you can't tell the artist personally, don’t stop there. Spread the good news.
